Aminata Cobb

Hi! My name is Aminata Cobb the Creative Director and founder of Aminata Living.  I started Aminata Living to showcase the interior designs I’ve done in my homes over the years and help others make their homes a place they never want to leave.  I began this journey as a stylist for a major clothing store.  I studied Fashion Merchandising and thought I would eventually become a lead stylist.  Well, life happens and my family grew from my husband and one son to three.  During this time I took a break from styling and spent a lot of time at home taking care of my family.  Living with three boys and my husband I had to design my house to be functional and comfortable. 

 

So just like that my dreams of becoming a stylist shifted to interior design.  I loved putting different elements and colors into each room to create spaces that made me feel good about being at home.  My inspiration comes from all of the places I’ve been and all of the new trends I see.  My priority is to listen to my clients so I can understand what each individual needs to create a space they will love.  I believe every home is unique and that's why I create spaces that cater to each client's needs.
