DIY chalk wall

I always wanted a chalk wall for the children. When we moved to our new house we decided to make the basement a playroom for kids and has had a perfect space for the chalk wall to go.

What you will need to create this wall:

3-1"x4"x6' wood boards to frame the wall

1 pint of chalk paint

paint brush

Painter's tape

2" construction screws

Stud finder

1 - Tape the wall to how big you want the chalk wall to be

2- Paint the inside of the tape with the chalk paint

3 - Cut the 1x4's to size to frame your chalk wall

4 - Use the stud finder to locate where your studs are and mark the locations

5 - Attach the wood with 2" construction screws at the stud locatons
